11/03/2006 - An excursion advertised as "The Big Day Out" hauled by LMS 8F - 48151 from Carnforth to Chester via Hellifield and sporting a "The Green Express" headboard is captured approaching the footcrossing at Billington on the start of the climb up Whalley Banks.
Incidently, the 8F failed at Blackburn on the return home.
