I decided to spent the rest of the day at this location, the weather being so back. I had at least a decent view of the line
About 20 minutes spent near the trackside behind a fishing brolley with the rain driving nearly horizontal was all I was perpared to do and thus I retreated to my parked car overlooking the area which was parked on the roadside verge.Apr 30, 2012

In all my years taking pictures at Galas and also lineside have I known such heavy and constant rain throughout the day spoiling what would have been a fantastic last day of a rail gala.
I hope this doesnt put off the "Betton Grange" group from having a SSSIV in a couple of years time !!Apr 30, 2012
